MEN AND MAKE UP!

Prem sees Akshaya.
Prem: "Wow. She is drop dead gorgeous isn't she?!"
Mira turns to look at Akshaya. She wonders how her cheeks are pink, how her skin is milky white and how her curls dance as she moves and how she carries herself with a spell bounding grace . As she notices, she realizes the magic of a good apparel, the right accessories and of course, the key element to beauty: MAKE UP.
The next day, she walks with a sudden confidence, dolled up to look pretty, secretly hoping she'd be a head turner. She bats her long and glossy eye lashes as she hopefully asks "Prem, how do I look?"
Prem has an astonished look.
Prem: Why the make up? I don't understand why girls wear coats of make up. It's all about the inner beauty, you know?
A hurt Mira walks away.

If you're a girl, I'm sure this is not new to you. We women folk, are ridiculed for "shielding our inner BEAUTY" with makeup. There are people who constantly shun is down, even if we look good with the make up.  And what if we sport the casual look as they demand? We could wear baggy jeans, a cool top and walk with the same confidence but that's just going to make them say " You look pale. Are you sick?" Or they'd secretly talk about how you've dressed up bad behind your back.
So it's not only women psychology that is hard to decipher.Besides it's the man's mind that is confusing. We don't understand what they want from a woman.
What's worse is they question your confidence when you sport the hot chic look. "Why the make up? Aren't you confident of your inner beauty?" Now how does confidence have anything to do with wearing make up or not? I don't quite get the idea at all. But one thing's clear from all this:Almost every man yearns to see inner beauty. But what is it? Because if a woman wears no make up and walks her way without giving much attention to how she looks, she is simply called "plain" and her "inner beauty" goes unnoticed.

My speculation on this topic is as follows:
Men don't know what make up is. They have no clue. But if they see some obvious signs of make up on your face, like smudged mascara and maybe a thick coat of foundation, they are bound to throw preposterous comments that might blow you off. So it is solely up to women to make their make up look more natural, yet compliment their face to look beautiful. I am not a make up artist, so I cannot elaborate and give you tips. But I can tell you one thing. Men dig for confidence. So be sure to add a dash of confidence to your personality before you walk out! ;) Maybe that's the inner beauty they are looking for. You never know.
