DREAMS -HOW MEANINGFUL THEY CAN BE

Your inner most thoughts fail to surface into your mind during the day when all your time is dedicated into doing something else. Even if you are not doing anything, your mind is constantly thinking about daily activities or people you meet, but often, neglects the innermost desires and thoughts. Dreams are the only mode through which they materialize themselves. And these dreams, sometimes voice out our inner most needs with such intensity that when we wake up in the morning, instead of getting out of bed, we stare at  the walls wishing our dreams would repeat themselves. Sometimes, dreams are like flashes of memory, reminding ourselves of our own past. Irrespective of whether they are useful or useless, dreams always have something to tell us, if we just look in the right direction.

This morning, I woke up to a splendid dream. From what I can remember, I think I was dropped off to the airport by my parents who sweetly bid their good byes through intimate hugs and wished me luck. What were they wishing me luck for? Next thing I know is I land into a place that has an abundance of greenery. There,I  meet a group of people who tag along with me in my journey. I could see a tall guy with black hair and coffee brown skin. He called himself Noah. Standing next to him was another guy with a squared jaw line. He had green eyes and blonde hair. He called himself Chris. He mentioned he was from a mix of places so i decided not to bother. Opposite them were two girls, one Indian and one Japanese with the names Manya and Kireena respectively. I was so glad to see a face of my own kind. I greeted them in the only language I know they'd speak too: English. Noah took charge and escorted us into the cab. From then on, our journey sparked off with a lot of interesting tasks. Our team got the name "Fortitude". I remember sharing a special bond with my team. Some of the tasks involved helping the poor and managing events for them. We did them with huge amounts of pleasure. We spent our days working off and our nights partying and treating ourselves. The food was delicious and the places, enticing.

When I woke up, I realized that such an experience is what I wanted to ward off the boredom that had set into my life.

A trip, maybe some group activities? Social work and some partying? Networking with people around the globe, learning their culture? My bucket list had this as a task for a long time but sadly, time never allowed me to pursue it. Screw time! The dream has tempted me enough. Maybe this is a signal, I should start soon. I'm an adult now it's time to make decisions and go on small little adventures.
